Meeting Minutes

July 24, 2023

Meeting called to order at 6:02 pm by Kristin Depew

Prayer offered by Janet Norton

Pledge of Allegiance led by Charles Gibson

County Commissioners present: Janet Norton & Katy Huffaker

Kristin discussed the new website; www.gopwomenofjeffersoncounty.com. Meeting minutes can be viewed there.

Make sure to go and like the Facebook page, GOP Women of Jefferson County Tennessee.

There were some issues setting up the bank account but all is set up now. Yearly dues are $20. Treasurer Lavigne is out of town so bring dues next month.

Janice gave an update on the Fair.

Dawn gave an update on the Freedom Fest

Scots-Irish Fest date was changed to Sept. 30. We will set up in front of Jefferson County Post.

Small Business Saturday- We have a volunteer to create a gingerbread house to represent our group.

Discussed a young Republicans group. A facebook page and Instagram were suggested. Kristin will ask David Seal about it.

June minutes were approved.

Kristin introduced Charles Gibson, Jefferson County Admin of Elections, who provided us with a very informative presentation.
