NEW BUSINESS

Election of Officers

CHAIRMAN
Motion by Katy Huffaker for Kristin Depew for a second term. Motioned seconded by Tracy Cody. Huffaker motion for nominations to cease and election by affirmation.

Motion approved unanamously

VICE CHAIRMAN
Motion by Tracy Cody for Ashlin Depew for Vice Chairman. Motioon seconded by Linda Bayless. No other nominations were made. Huffaker motion for nominations to cease and election by affirmation.

Motion approved unanamously

SECRETARY
No members present had interest in serving in a full term capacity. Tracy Cody agreed to serve as interim until such time a full term replacement can be elected.

A motion for Cody as interim was offered by Linda Bayless and Huffaker made motions to cease and for Cody to be appointed by affirmation.

Motion approved unanamously

TREASURER
No members present had interest in serving in a full term capacity. Huffaker made motion for the purpose of continuity to nominate Janice Carey (already signor on bank accounts) pending her acceptance. Ashlin Depew made motion for nomination to cease and to elect by affirmation.

Discussion of Spring Event

A spring event to serve as a community outreach with potential first event in April 2025. The event would be a meet-n-greet and fundraiser for the GOP Women of Jefferson County. A Community Outreach Committee was established. Ashlin Depew, Vice Chairman will Chair Committee and Betty Fain volunteered to serve on that committee.
